The event was held last Saturday at The National Museum and House of Culture in Dar es Salaam.
The awards were presided over by the
Deputy Minister for Science and Technology Mr January Makamba, who is
the patron of the ‘Under 30 Youth Awards’.
Speaking at the award giving ceremony,
Mr Makamba said he would like to see the awards grow into a bigger event
and called for more transparency in the voting process.
