Mlimani City to host Miss Tanzania show

Mlimani City auditorium in Dar es Salaam has again won the opportunity to host premier Miss Tanzania beauty pageantry to be held on September 21 as The Guardian is official Media sponsors.

A total of 30 contestants who are lined up for the show continue to catch up the eyes of fans as they make their third busy day training at a Dar es Salaam hotel ahead of the final next month.

Former Red top Miss Model who was fifth placed during the previous edition, Magdalena Munisi advised the government to put more efforts in the beauty pageantry industry.

“Tanzania has many beautiful girls who have dreams for their future personally and their country as well. The competition has shaped up them well as they interact with each other while trying to share some experiences. Their expectations are high and as a trainer I intend to accomplish by duty professionally while wishing them the best of luck”, she said.

The floor manager for the event Eric Othoman said preparation is going smoothly with all contestants gearing up for the final showdown.

Competitor Nalietha Boniface, (21), who represents Temeke predicted how stiff the competition will be ever since she arrived in a camp while wishing to be crowned at the end of the show.

Sheintends to be punctual and comply with the routine.
”Every one is gearing up to win as you can see all of my colleagues are in a hectic in preparation ahead of the show, but I have confidence to win and represent my country well in Miss World”, she said.

Eshe Rashid, (19), who is representing Lake Zone, and winner in Mara region, she also sounded optimistic over wining the show.

Naicejack Herman (18), who represents central zone (Singida) and the second runner up in Miss Tanzania Institute Of Accountancy said; “Once I will be crowned as Miss Tanzania, I plan to advise the Minister for Natural Resources and tourism to put more emphasis and come up with new strategy ahead of environmental destruction that seems to affect our economy”.

Latifa Mohamed (20), representing Temeke, Lucy Tomeka (21), Prisca Clement (21), Phillios Lemi (21), Sarah Paul, (22), from Kinondoni,
Nancy Moshi (19) representing Arusha, Dayan Simon Laizer (21) from East Zone, Clara Bayo (20), representing Ilala and Janeth Awet (19) from Lindi.

Miriam Manyaga, (21) representing Universities, Lucy James (23), from Open University, Glory Steven,(19), of Central Zone (Tabora), Ilala’s winner Alice Issack(19), Doris Mollel,(22), , Sabrina Juma(18), representing Central Zone (Dodoma) who is also a student of Tourism from University of Dar es Salaam,
Lucy Charles, (23) of Mwanza, who is a studied at St.Augustine, Severina Ringa, (19) of Tumain University in Dr es Salaam, Happiness Watinywa, (19), from Dodoma, Elizabeth Pertty, (22) from Dar es salaam East Zone, Linah Allan,(21), representing Rukwa.

The line-up of contestants extends to Salsha Isidory, (22) who represents Geita, Jackline Joel, (19), from Mbeya, Mary Chemponda, (18), representing Kilimanjaro and lastly Joyce Shao,(22), representing Manyara.
